Well, the halls may not be decked just yet, and there are no boughs of holly to be seen anywhere in D.C.  But it's officially the holiday season at Yellow House Knits.

If you are thinking about a Yellow House Knits sweater for a little one in your life this holiday season, I encourage you to order sooner rather than later.  The absolute last day to order sweaters will be November 15 (November 1 for international orders, including Canada).  HOWEVER, I will close the holiday queue early if it fills up.  So please don't wait until November 14!

All U.S. holiday orders will ship FedEx Ground by December 18.  International orders will be sent U.S. First class mail and will ship by December 4.  If you want expedited delivery, delivery tracking, or Priority Mail, let me know and I'll send you a quote for the additional charges.

Of course, in-stock sweaters and gift certificates may be ordered until the bitter end.

Order Your Valentine's Sweater Now!

Katie's comment that yesterday's treasury reminds her of Valentine's Day reminded me to post about the deadline for Valentine's orders.  All orders for sweaters to be delivered by Valentine's Day must be in by January 12, which is in six short days.  I have tons of adorable heart-shaped buttons, including some blue ones if pink is too girly.  Shoot me an email if you're interested.

Closed for Christmas Orders

I have to close the holiday queue early because I'm completely booked.  I've been completely overwhelmed and excited by the rush of orders!  So, at this point, I can no longer guarantee orders for Christmas delivery.  All orders placed through today, October 24, will ship Fed Ex by December 17.  Those placed after today will ship in January.  In-stock sweaters will continue to ship within two days.

Deadline for Holiday Orders

The current deadline for knit-to-order sweaters for the holidays is November 15, but I reserve the right to move that deadline up if the queue fills up sooner.  Based on the rate at which custom orders are coming in (wow!), I think that may happen, so order early if you want to give the gift of a handknit baby sweater this holiday season.  I'll post any changes to the deadline here on Inside the Yellow House.

Orders placed by November 15 will be delivered by December 23.  If you need your sweater earlier, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

In-stock sweaters can, of course, be ordered up until the bitter end.
