Pink & Green Sweater for Pink & Green Thursday

I finished this custom-order sweater last weekend, but I saved it for Trish's Pink & Green Thursday over at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover.

 

I just adore this sweater.  Pink is my favorite color, and I love the white and [insert favorite bright color] striped sweater pattern. Most of all, I think the green buttons are so fantastic and unexpected.  The customer and I went back and forth, back and forth between green and turquoise buttons and ultimately settled on the green, which was the right call (the turquoise would have been fun but not quite as bold). 

 

I really hope the customer sends me a picture of her daughter wearing the sweater!  Happy Pink & Green Thursday. 

Pink & Green Thursday

Today is Pink & Green Thursday over at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover.  Over the weeks, I've enjoyed seeing Trish's preppy pink and green picks and thought it would be fun to play along.  I think pink and green is such a great color combination.  This week I decided to highlight two of my favorite little baby sweaters, which are (surprise!) pink and green.  These sweaters highlight the different personalities of pink and green, depending on which shades are involved.  Sometimes the colors are bright, almost candy-colored, as in the first sweater, which is bubble gum pink and sour apple green.  Other times they're more subdued and more sophisticated, like the moss green and raspberry in the second color.  Either way, they're great fun!  Hope you had your own Pink & Green Thursday!
