Somerset Place Cardigan

I just finished up a custom version of the Somerset Place sweater as a cardigan, rather than a pullover.  I'm really happy with how it turned out!  The cardigan really showcases those awesome brown buttons!

As a reminder, I can tweak any Yellow House Knits sweater to meet your needs. This colorway and pattern would also look great as a V-neck--very preppy!  Email yellowhouseknits[at]gmail.com with your ideas!

Joy!

Danielle from Avery Photography sent me these stunning pictures of the Somerset Place sweater. Wow! Just wow! Love those infectious smiles and the stone background with the brown in the sweater.  I'm so, so happy with how these turned out!  And Danielle was such fun to work with--super enthusiastic and excited about her work.  If you live in the Atlanta area, call Danielle for pictures of your little (or not so little) ones.  She'll take great care of you!

Warm and Yummy

I was so excited to see that the Somerset Place sweater was featured in last Thursday's issue of Fresh Baked, the newsletter published by the Australian blog KID Indepdendent.  The newsletter "features cool indie and handmade gear for kids, along with fun competitions and a few of our favourite new products."  If you're not familiar with the KID Independent blog, do take a good look--even if you don't live in Australia.  The editors have a real knack for picking out charming and unqiue products for babies, kids, and moms.
