Charm Party
I got home late last night to find a nice surprise: my prize from the Ultimate Blog Party. I won a "Treasures Party Kit" from Amy Peters' Studio. Amy makes lovely inspirational word jewelry like these great chunky chokers.
The Treasures Party kit provides all of the supplies--chains, shapes, and words--for 8 to 12 kids to make their own pewter charm necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. It all comes packaged in a charming wood box with Amy's logo burned into the top. The kit sells for $140, so I made out pretty well!
I don't want to open the package until we're ready to make the jewelry because I don't want to lose any of the little pieces, but this picture from Amy's website shows what comes in the kit. I think it looks like a great party idea! For other party ideas, check out this cool "comic" on Amy's website.
I know some young ladies who are just going to love the Treasures Party Kit! I can't wait to get creative with them. I'm already thinking about what my own necklace will look like. I call the flower shape . . . !
