Think of it this way: If a mom-to-be is showered in May or June, she is probably due in June, July, or August. That means that her baby will be about six months old in the dead of winter--when a little sweater will be much appreciated--and perfect for a little one making a first appearance at day care or a play group.
One way to bridge the warm weather/cold weather gap is to give a sweater with happy spring colors and playful shapes--like this pink sweater with bobble trim. Come winter, it will be a breath of fresh air!
I love the color combination. The sweater is adorable!!
