The Yellow House Knits Semi-Annual Sale is just about half over. So far, it's been very successful. I've sold a couple of in-stock sweaters, but--even better--I've gotten quite a few custom orders, which I really wasn't expecting. Custom sweaters are so much fun to work on, both because it's nice to work with customers to design something perfect and because I like the variety inherent in custom work. I think a lot of customers like to be able to give gifts that are truly one-of-a-kind.
